As we prepare for our transition to the Vantaca homeowner portal on July 1, 2026, we would like to share a few important updates regarding online payments and AutoPay set up through the resident portal. This does not apply to online bill-pay set up through your personal bank.
One-Time Payments
If you have not already done so, please complete and return the attached Resident Information Form to [email protected]. Keeping your contact information current will help ensure you receive your portal registration information and important updates regarding the transition.

As we prepare for our transition to the Vantaca homeowner portal on July 1, 2026, we would like to share a few important updates regarding online payments and AutoPay set up through the resident portal. This does not apply to online bill-pay set up through your personal bank.
One-Time Payments
- One-time online payments will no longer be available in the current system beginning June 29, 2026.
- The last day to submit a one-time payment through the current portal is June 28, 2026.
- Existing AutoPay information is expected to transfer to the new system.
- If your AutoPay is set up as a variable payment amount rather than a fixed amount, your AutoPay may not process automatically. Homeowners affected by this will receive a separate communication from the payment processor if your payment fails. It is the homeowner's responsibility to ensure that any failed payments are re-processed in the new portal.
- Only active AutoPay information is expected to transfer to the new system.
- If you are not currently enrolled in AutoPay but have banking information stored for future one-time payments, that information will not transfer and you will need to re-enter your banking information before making future online payments.

We're seeing more young riders on high-powered electric motorcycles that are often mistaken for e-bikes.
While they may look similar, the law treats them very differently.
An electric bicycle must have operable pedals, a motor under 750 watts, and a maximum speed of 28 mph.
Anything more powerful may be classified as an electric motorcycle, which requires registration, a motorcycle endorsement,
and can only be operated on roadways.
Allowing a child to ride an illegal e-bike or electric motorcycle can lead to:
Traffic citations
Vehicle impoundment
Costly fines
Legal consequences
Serious injuries from crashes involving higher speeds
Before purchasing or allowing your child to ride, make sure you know exactly what they're operating.
A few minutes of research today can help prevent a tragedy tomorrow.

Bike Path Repair & Tree Management Plan
Dear SilverLakes Residents,
We are writing to provide a detailed update regarding the maintenance of the community bike path. As many of you know, root intrusion has caused significant damage to the asphalt in several areas, creating potential safety hazards.
To address this properly, the Association hired a certified arborist to assess every tree affecting the bike path. We have also coordinated closely with the City of Pembroke Pines to determine the best course of action.
Our goal was to preserve as many trees as possible. However, the arborist determined that certain trees are causing extensive structural damage and cannot simply be root pruned without compromising the tree’s stability or health. Consequently, removal is the necessary solution for these specific trees, and the assessment was supported by the City.
Project Plan & Next Steps
Permitting has been obtained through the City, and the project is in process as follows:
Root Pruning: Trees that can be safely managed will be root pruned to help prevent future damage while preserving the tree.
Tree Removal: Trees identified as non-salvageable due to the severity of the root intrusion will be removed.
Path Restoration: The damaged areas of the asphalt bike path will be removed and replaced with new, level paving.
Tree Replacement: Following the construction, all removed trees will be replaced. New trees will be selected based on the arborist and City recommendations to ensure they are the right species for planting near pathways. The replacement timeline will be determined with the City.

Attention SilverLakes Residents:
There have been multiple complaints from neighbors nearly being struck by golf carts utilized in our community. Please note that our documents prohibit golf cart use in our community and state law also imposes restrictions that may result in citations or escalated legal consequences. SilverLakes Deed Restrictions: Article 3, section 2, (c) II, Vehicular restrictions: ... No mopeds or golf carts may be operated on the general common areas or exclusive common areas. Article 3, section 2, (cc) Golf Carts: No golf carts shall be operated within the properties. Florida State Statute 316.212 Operation of golf carts on certain roadways.—The operation of a golf cart upon the public roads or streets of this state is prohibited. |

SilverLakes Community Pool access is set up via the Open Path system. This is a Bluetooth-enabled application, allowing access via the use of a smart device.
Note: This application is only for SilverLakes Community pool located at the Community Park at NW 178th Avenue. This application will not allow access to any sub-association swimming pools.
